Keep the comparison within shared hosting
Both brands sell more than one type of hosting. A provider’s VPS locations, managed-server promise or cloud resources should not be carried into a shared-hosting comparison unless the selected product actually includes them. This page compares the currently documented shared range and identifies remaining gaps.
Hostinger Premium lists three sites and weekly backups. UltaHost Shared Starter lists one domain and daily backups; Shared Basic increases the domain allowance to four. A multi-site reader therefore needs a different UltaHost tier from the one-site headline price.
| Decision | Hostinger captured range | UltaHost captured shared range |
|---|---|---|
| Administration | hPanel | cPanel |
| Entry site/domain allowance | Premium: 3 websites | Starter: 1 domain; Basic: 4 |
| Entry storage | Premium: 20 GB SSD | Starter: 30 GB NVMe |
| Backup observation | Weekly on Premium; daily on higher listed tiers | Daily; retention and restore scope need confirmation |
| Initial observed term | 48 months | 24 months |
NVMe, SSD and capacity labels are product specifications, not proof of measured end-to-end speed. A website’s theme, queries, caching and workload still affect the experience.

Original calculations by HostingRanker, using the dated source observations in the table. A lower bar does not establish the best product or comparable features.
UltaHost’s recorded two-year Starter total is $82.56, calculated from the displayed rounded monthly rate. Its Basic equivalent is $124.32. These are calculated totals, so the final checkout amount and tax treatment take precedence. Hostinger Premium’s captured first payment is $143.52 for a longer 48-month period.
At a three-year horizon, the UltaHost scenario includes another whole two-year bill under the recorded renewal terms. The calculator consequently shows cash beyond the service used. Comparing only the first payment would miss that second bill; comparing only a monthly equivalent would hide the initial prepayment.
We allocate the first payment across all months it covers, including any bonus months. Cash includes whole billing periods needed to reach the chosen horizon. Renewal rates are held constant for this illustration; they are not guaranteed future quotes. Unknown bills remain unverified. Domains, optional services and taxes are excluded unless explicitly added. Read the calculation method.
A three-site owner should compare Premium with Basic
For three small sites, UltaHost Starter’s one-domain allowance does not match the task. Shared Basic is the lower observed eligible tier by domain count. Hostinger Premium’s three-site allowance can fit, subject to storage and other resource needs.
Before treating either as suitable, confirm what the provider counts as a website or domain. Parked aliases, subdomains, staging installations and separate live sites may have different treatment. Write down the intended structure rather than relying on an unlimited-domain label from another tier.
For ten live sites, compare higher eligible offerings. Do not extrapolate that a four-domain plan can serve ten independent sites because an application technically supports multiple pages. Our multiple-site comparison uses the stated allowances and makes uncertain capacity visible.
Also consider isolation: several projects in one shared account can share credentials and operational risks. A client portfolio that needs independent access may require a different product from the shared plans discussed here.
Resolve the remaining recovery and location questions
UltaHost lists daily backups, but a useful recovery decision also needs retention, restore availability and any fee. These were not all established by the captured shared-plan table. Ask for the actual scope before treating “daily” as a complete recovery specification.
Hostinger’s tier distinction is clear on frequency: Premium is weekly, while the higher listed tiers improve it. If daily recovery is a must-have, price the higher eligible tier or a separate arrangement. That changes the comparison from the lowest advertised plan.
The same product-specific approach applies to locations. A provider-wide facility catalog can include servers used by VPS or dedicated products. Confirm the origin available to the selected shared account and whether moving it is possible. CDN coverage is not the origin location of every dynamic request or database.
Keep an independent copy of the website and a documented restore procedure whichever provider is chosen. A location closer to users cannot repair missing backups or unsupported application requirements.
Choose by management and commitment after the gaps are resolved
Hostinger is worth starting with when its integrated setup and hPanel fit the owner’s workflow, and four-year prepayment is acceptable. Use the Hostinger pricing guide to decide whether Premium’s limitations require an upgrade.
UltaHost is worth examining when its cPanel shared offer, documented daily backups and two-year selection match the requirement. Before paying, confirm the calculated total, shared-plan location, restoration terms and final domain allowance in writing. Our UltaHost review separates those gaps from the facts already established.
For an existing site, compare the cost of migration and the risk of changing control panels with the potential financial benefit. Preserve the old service until forms, email, database operations and DNS have been checked. If the essential questions remain unanswered, another documented offer can be a better shortlist candidate even if the headline price is higher.
